We stayed in a three bedroom suite and enjoyed our stay. It was a nice size to give everyone some privacy and big enough for five adults to hang out in the livingroom or eat together. Kitchen was relatively well stocked with dishes and we did a bunch of our own cooking. Everything was quite clean and nice. The weather wasn't the best while we were there but the suite had a big balcony with a table and BBQ as well which we would have used if it was warmer.
Beautiful condos, with a lobby/ hotel reception area. I stayed through Airbnb and was delighted to find a bottle of wine and chocolates upon arrival. Helpful staff and good underground parking facilities. Pricey but worth it.
We had a very nice stay at Solara Resort and Spa. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The front desk was extremely friendly and serviceable. There are a few things I would add as feedback for improvement; the pool area wasn't very clean and messy due to renovations and housekeeping was often late, sometimes even so late in the afternoon that we had to cancel them due to our kids' nap. A few extra services would have been nice such as offering bottled water or setting up the crib for our baby. But overall we had a pleasant stay.
The rooms are beautiful, but for the price, I expected better service. The staff were not very warm or friendly and the attention to detail just wasn't there. Despite specifically asking us before our arrival if we were coming to celebrate any special occasion, there was no mention or recognition of the special occasion we were celebrating...which seemed weird since they went to the trouble of asking.Some of the towels in our room were frayed, there were a ton of fingerprints on the windows, the dishes were put away very wet (so we actually had to dump water off of them when we pulled them out of the cupboard), there were grease splatters up the wall of the kitchen, and ketchup or blood (I'm really hoping for ketchup) on one of the light switches. Still, the suites are spacious and really nicely finished. If the room had been cleaner and staff had seemed even a little excited to see us at any point in our stay, this would have easily been a 5-star rating.
My sisters and I stayed at Solara in Canmore Alberta. It was a lovely visit for four nights. The condo was large and well kept . The rooms were comfortable and had a nice view of the mountain for an extra charge. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything that was needed for a meal was provided, including an electric grill on the balcony. This large space was much more conducive for three people the a regular hotel room and was the same price as a regular hotel roomThe staff was very helpful They gave us excellent advice and told us of very good restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend this resort.
