Very disappointed with our lunch with family today! Fish tacos are not the same as they used to be....very plain and ordinary...caesar salad such a disappointment! Would be so nice if this restaurant could be consistent with their lunch time menu! Love the view, but will not be back for awhile!!
I don't even want to give this bar and grill one star!! We recently ordered grilled strip loin steaks that came to our table not grilled but gray coloured with a few grill marks on them. They were barely warm, one was dry and both were tough. We sent them both back to the kitchen, much to the chagrin of our waitress. Taking them back, she said she would brown them more. That did not happen, as they both came back as gray looking as they were before. The setting and the scenery are out of this world but I would not recommend the food to my worst enemy.We will never go back!!!!!!!
Went to Stoney's for their Valentine's day special. It was superb! Service was lovely but a tad slow - understandable as they were so busy in their off season. The bread came out warm and fresh. The starter mushroom soup was amazing. The beef was cooked to perfection - so tender and juicey. The asperugus was a perfect balance of greens. The fries were the best I've had in Canmore! When I had my mouth full of Stoney's delightful dinner they had pleanty of tvs and the Olympics to watch while chewing. All round it was a great night. My mouth had a party at this place so worth the drive off the main drag!
Excellent food! Not the best beer selection on tap but the views of the mountains are outstanding!
I dine here all the time. Fantastic burger fantastic staff. Quiet on busy nights. I highly recommend this place
