Food was good. Had the burger, chicken carbonara, and coconut shrimp salad. Our server Adam was really great and super attentive. When the pasta came out, I was disappointed that I got a salad... but then the salad was really great too. View of the mountains from the patio cant be beat.
Had our rehearsal dinner here last Thursday. Only place in Canmore that would take a reservation for 30. Reserved without researching and boy we were happy!! Excellent excellent food! Amazing view and fun, yet classy atmosphere. Thank you iron goat staff! A lot of us had pizzas and loved them!
WOW! We were a group of 13 girls out celebrating a stagette. All of us enjoyed our meals immensely! Has that ever happened before? Not in my experience! Our waiter Steve was amazing, made the night so fun because he was attentive without being intrusive - would recommend this place to all and hopefully you are lucky enough to be served by someone as efficient as Steve was. Thanks for a great start to fun night out.
Had our wedding reception dinner here tonight and I wouldnt recommend it. We were told that we would be seated on the balcony which is what we wanted so we could have privacy and a view of the mountains. When we arrived, we were seated in the main dining area among other guests and it was so loud we could hardly hear each other talk. The food was mediocre at best, my guests ordered steaks medium rare and they came rare. We ordered apple crumble for dessert and it came frozen and had no caramel topping like described. I gave them two stars because they did give us 10% off the bill for the frozen dessert but Id recommend another location if you are having a wedding reception.
Loved the Squash'd Pizza! Thanks to our server for recommending it. Had the corn bread as a starter and it was delicious, and my son enjoyed the Alberta Beef Burger. The view was amazing and so nice to be able to enjoy it after smokey August. Highly recommend this place and looking forward to returning.
