Seemed to be one of the few places offering breakfast when we got to Canmore in the morning. Food was pretty good- crepes with fruit were nice. A little more than we're used to paying for breakfast, but not outrageous. Seemed typical of the Rockies based on our experience.
Just left Hogshead where we had a wonderful meal. I had chicken wings but can't eat hot sauce so waitress (forgot her name but she was great) served the mildest one they had on the side. It was perfect! My husband had a burger and fries. Good portions, reasonable prices!!
The closest we found to an English pub. We both ordered burger and chips which were excellently cooked. The staff were friendly and relaxed.
the food here is spectacular. and is perfect down to the last detail. the plating is gorgeous and as other tables got their food i got more excited for mine. the basic burger was so juicy and fresh paired with their duck fat fries i was in bliss. the open face meatloaf sandwich is also so tasty, one of the gravy and mushrooms gave it such a warm cozy home cooked feel. the 4 star rating is because of the slow servers. amazing nice and friendly and could truly tell they were awesome girls, but the two times i went it wasnt overly busy and as a server for the last 8 years, i felt like there wasnt enough service being given
Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. Perfectly cooked despite coming in maybe too late in the night. Amazing service as well. I'm not sure when I'll be back to the beautiful Canmore, but when I am I'll know to stop back at Hogshead for a delicious meal and friendly atmosphere. AND THEY HAVE A SIGN TO SEAT YOURSELF. HUGE PLUS IN THIS TOWN.
