One of the highlights- if not THE highlight- of our Canada trip. The guides were really nice, we had 40 minutes to play with the female huskies and 10 minutes to play with 4-6 male huskies chained to their houses. I thought it wasnt going to be enough time, but it was plenty! Fair warning: you will get dirty, so dont wear white clothes and dont bring your nice sunglasses. Was a perfect day though!! Wish we could have done this multiple days in a row!!!!!
My husband and I went on a tour in late July and had the best time. Our tour guide was fantastic and all of the staff at the facility were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I can't believe everyone knew the names of over 180 dogs!! It was such fun to interact with the dogs and to see their different personalities. My favorite dog was a Malamute named Sabbath. If I lived in Canmore, I would apply for a job there in a second and see if I could adopt Sabbath once he retired!!!!!
What an experience! The staff were great and we all got a chance to drive our own sleds! Wish we did the overnight trip to spend more time with the dogs and just be out in the amazing wilderness. Thank you guys for a memorable experience! We hope we come back!
If youve ever wondered what heaven is like... come see this place. Absolutely wonderful experience to be around these awesome animals. Our guide Was funny and educational. The dogs were full of love and kisses. They are taken care of better than most people and you can see it in the facility but more importantly you see it in the dogs. I cant wait to come back and sledWith my kids
What a fantastic experience. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly, from all over the world. The dogs are well looked after and sometimes get to have sleep overs with the staff. Yes, it is expensive but well worth it. Be aware that if the temperature falls below a certain point, the sledding will be cancelled. You will be rescheduled or refunded if you cant make it due to flights. This happened to me but I was able to squeeze it in before heading to the airport.
