We went on the tour with Ryan, who was absolutely awesome and showed us a hell of a lot in the caves. Ryans incredibly passionate about his caving and that really came through - also as a geologist the stuff he was telling us was really interesting. Wed highly recommend this tour - it was an insane amount of fun and an unexpected highlight of our trip.
Ive done this tour 4 times in the last decade, and love sharing it with people! This week I brought my boyfriend and teen stepkids for their first experience. We all absolutely loved it! I dont think the kids realized how much they were learning as we made our way through the cave :). The guides Ive had have all been eager to share their passion for caving, and Ive felt 100% safe every time I go. We had Russ take us through the cave this time, and he did such a good job guiding the kids through a bit of nerves about the rappel and letting them discover what they were capable of! I recommend the Rats Nest to anyone travelling through Canmore, and will definitely be coming again!
One of the best day adventures I've ever been on. The guides were professional, courteous, informative and fun. I never felt unsafe and enjoyed the day immensely. Highly recommended.
