Friendly staff and well maintained bikes. I rented a full suspension mountain bike for the day to take to the Canmore Nordic Centre and had a blast. The bike performed perfectly and we had no issues. They throw in a hand pump and spare tubes with the rental in case of emergencies which is a plus. Location is also very convenient, it was just a 15 minute drive for us to get to the trails!
I was recommended to come here by a friend and they did not disappoint. The staff is extremely knowledgeable in everything they rent. You will be fitted properly and truly enjoy the experience. They also recommend places to go! The rental prices were better than any other place I've been. I will be back to rent more when I visit Canmore again.
Came here with a group of 7 and they were able to accommodate some us for crampons and others for snowshoes. I don't remember the guys' name but he was super helpful and patient with all of us asking him questions and trying to get us fitted. This place was really close to where we were staying at and they definitely didn't disappoint. The place was spacious and lots of bench seating.We did not use their services in terms of waxing/tuning skis or snowboards but I would imagine they would be top notch about it. I'll have to test them out next time.Overall, I would recommend this place if you are around this area before heading up onto the slopes.
I'm happy with the price, but not with my climbing harness. But what can you expect of rental gear. Anyway, great service, great price, and I got to go climbing!
Gear up is without a doubt the best rental and ski service location in the Bow Valley, maybe even Alberta. Prices are typically quite reasonable, and they are always friendly, helpful, and the quality of work is excellent. Highly recommend.
