I was extremely disappointed to find that an antique photograph of my great grandfather(one of the original mining formans) which was donated by my family, had been removed without us being notified or even asked if we would like the photograph back. I won't be returning.
A cool experience for our family. The kids enjoyed doing a scavenger hunt for various items through the museum. There is a nice mix of interactive displays and static displays. It is a cross between a natural science museum and historical museum.
Excellent museum. Great displays about the history of Canmore and its geological resources. An hour well spent.
