I just loved the trail, which is paved and great to cycle on. I would recommend this bike ride to everyone who enjoys biking. It is a 44 km round trip bike ride with beautiful scenery.
The trail is about 17kms from Canmore to Banff. It took us about an hour and a half to bike it. There is a nice viewpoint about halfway through the trail which would be awesome if it wasn't smokey out. There are picnic tables and a bathroom at that stopover. The trail is relatively flat, but there's a couple good hill parts that will test you. A little noisy at certain sections by the highway, but a really nice ride
